PayMaya with beep function is a card which you can load up with cash. You can use it to pay in stores here and abroad or tap it to ride the LRT1, LRT2, MRT3 and select Point-to-Point (P2P) buses and toll ways (Note: load for purchases and rides are separate).

Unlike credit cards or debit cards, you can get PayMaya instantly. No need to submit application forms or open a bank account. The Card comes with an EMV chip for enhanced security against fraud.

How to upgrade your PayMaya Visa

 

Log-in to your PayMaya app:

• For IOS: Tap "More", then tap "Upgrade for FREE".
• For Android: Open the drawer, then tap "Upgrade for FREE".

 

 

Answer a few questions like your work details, take a photo of a valid ID with photo, e.g. driver’s license, student ID, and submit your application.

 

 

You will receive an upgrade validation code via SMS.

 

 

COMPLETE YOUR UPGRADE APPLICATION THROUGH ONE OF THESE CHOICES:

• For minors (below 18 years old), please have your parent / guardian sign this consent and provide a copy of their valid ID when completing the upgrade application.


• Video call -- like us on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/PayMayaOfficial and send us a private message. We’ll have one of our validation officers get in touch with you.


• Proceed to a Bayad Center branch near you -- Download this form, print, fill out and indicate the upgrade validation code you received via SMS. Bring a valid ID and present it at the Bayad Center counter. Click here for a list of branches that process PayMaya upgrades. For inquiries, please call (63 2) 2263000.


• Smart Pinoy Center, HK -- for customers upgrading in Hong Kong, please visit the Smart Pinoy Center at Shop 109, World Wide House Plaza, 20 Des Voeux Road, Central HK.
